kind of a weird question or two ...

i am currently attending classes to become a personal trainer and nutritionist. i have a few clients right now, but very few. so, what do you want in a personal trainer? what qualifications? what body type?

thanks so much - i know ... kind of random, but ...

  1. If I were to hire a personal trainer I would want her to be supportive and encouraging. I am a big baby so someone yelling at me to do more isn't my cup of tea. I think I would want her to have the latest info on ways to get the most out of my work outs and eating plan. I like to have choices....so I would need her to have a variety of exercises and foods as suggestions. Above all, just someone who has similar health goals as I do....tehehe not too much to ask....right?? Good luck. I'm sure you are fantastic!!

  2. I think I would want someone who makes me feel that they truly understand what a struggle weight loss is. I don't like to be yelled at but I would want to be pushed to keep going. Good luck!

  3. I would want someone who has fought the battle themselves so that I KNOW they truly get how hard it is. But I would need them to be STRONG with me, because I can come up with enough excuses for the both of us. I don't need to be yelled at, I'm an adult, but I just need to be reminded of my goals and how bad I want them when I'm tempted to quit or slack off. They are not there to be my friend...they are there to work my butt off, literally!! They are there to support and encourage me when I am down and discouraged and praise me when I come in pumped up and put in that 110% effort and do it right the first time around. You really have to be a people person and I'm sure you will do a fantastic job! Good luck!!
