I signed up for the Disney 1/2 Marathon in September. I have never participated in a marathon before, and I started training. I walked 3.5 miles yesterday and 4.5 for tomorrow. My real focus is H2O, as I know I am not good in this area. Any suggestions for getting to the 64 ounces a day?

  1. Good for you on your walking, Kimberly! In the area of fitness, drinking water has not been my downfall...eating and working out are...When I am at home, I have several glasses filled throughout the house...one by the computer, next to my bed, kitchen, etc. I find that if I see the water wherever I am, I drink it. When I am not at home, I have a water bottle with a straw with me. I can drink it with out even thinking...wierd, I know, but it seems to work. Basically, I find mind games to play with myself! Good Luck!

  2. I LOVE your idea of signing up for a 1/2 marathon...esp. at a fun destination like Disneyland! I'm going to try to sign up for a 5K for starters. Good Luck!
